Profile ( Turkey Kusadasi ABC )
We are a rapidly growing real estate agency based in Kusadasi, Turkey
established in 2002 and operated by 3 partners. Mainly concentrating on the
English market at present but we have many other nationalities visiting and
purchasing in Turkey through our company. We have two English websites
www.kusadasihomes.com which has consistently good rankings in search
engines and
www.turkeyrealestate.org
which is the latest site and is to be improved for 2008 to make searching
for properties in Turkey easier. Both these websites have been designed and
completely built by our own web designer who is also a partner here.
Our original website has been translated to French, which is available at
www.kusadasihomes.fr. We
also have a new web site which has been active since 2008 which is in Dutch,

We have a reasonably small team but, we work together to make the business
run efficiently providing customers with the necessary information they
require at a reasonable speed. Our main office is based in Kusadasi and the
staff deal with telephone enquiries,
after sales services, driving and general secretarial duties. We
thrive on being busy and helping potential or previous customers with any
enquiries or queries they have on properties or the area.
Our partners have over 10 years experience between them in a wide range of
fields all relevant to our work here.
Jane Okcu has lived and worked in Turkey since 1995 giving her
a very good knowledge of the area, people and language. She is responsible
for all operations in the UK and is one of our main contacts with clients
when they arrive here. She is also the main contact for our after
sales package. She is willing to help a person as far as she possibly
can and goes that extra mile to do so.
Serkan Kara has lived in Kusadasi all his life and has over 10 years
travel agency experience in many different companies. Last working for STG
International which was working in co-operation with a UK company. In
complete control of travel, transfer and accommodation for over 20,000
holiday makers each season, he has an excellent knowledge and understanding
of the English language. His family is also involved in the building
industry for many years producing soil bricks and development. He is also
our web-designer and is in charge of all changes and amendments in that area
plus, he does occasionally do viewing trips with potential customers but,
these are normally done by Jane or Donna.
Mustafa Okcu worked for over 4 years as the accountant for Barcello
Groupe in Kusadasi and working with a leading UK tour operator in their
accounts department. He has a good knowledge of the area and has very good
relations with house owners, developers and the Land Registry Office where
is brother is the manager. He is in charge of all legal workings and
agreements for our company with the developers and legal offices.
On top of these duties all three partners are involved in viewing trips and
will go through the whole house purchase procedure with clients to ensure
there are no misunderstandings or errors. As well as the above, there
is also one further English person working within our team who was a new
addition in 2006.
Donna Walls is
British and moved to Turkey to live in Kusadasi since 2004. She is mainly based in
the office sending emails and answering the phone but, also gets involved on
viewings as, her knowledge of the area is good and, having learned the
Turkish language quite quickly, is able to help potential buyers with
translations from builders. As she is British, she
is easy to talk to with no misunderstandings. Donna also goes that
extra mile to help customer and will also do shopping trips to help people
get the best prices for furniture for their new homes.
Nihat Calis
is our
after – sales person, he deals with any problems you may have on your
property. He is a qualified plumber and has many contacts in the trade
industry. He is also, generally, our driver to the airport who will
collect you and bring you back to resort safely.
The latest
additional members to our expanding work force are:
Gulsah Kara
is based in our Kusadasi office and her main job role is to update the web
sites we have/use with new properties and price adjustments. She is
also responsible for the general office duties within the company.
Ibrahim Harmankaya
is responsible for ensuring the web site runs accordingly so, customers like
yourself reading this at the moment can have access to our site all the time. He is
also our IT technician which is an important role to ensure the other
members of staff can always have contact with customers.
Gulsah and Ibrahim both have basic knowledge of the English language and are
able to help in the offices when other team members are not in by taking
telephone messages or dealing with customer enquiries. They are a
great addition to our team.
We currently advertise in monthly magazines and weekly newspapers in the UK
and have a contract and are the only recommended agency for leading British
tour operators for their clients wishing to purchase property in Turkey whilst on
holiday. We also widen our advertising by using other web sites to
advertise our properties on their property portals.
We have two main, well equipped offices at present, one of which is the
operation centre, the other for clients. Although chiefly a summer resort,
through our website we still have many clients arriving throughout the
winter period to view and purchase property. We are always looking at
ways to expand our business and reach potential buyers who are looking for a
trustworthy company with no misunderstandings or errors.
Kusadasi has recently been profiled by Channel 4 for their programme
A Place in the Sun which our company took part in. We supplied many
properties for them to view and showed them around the general area, the
couple then purchased the property of their dreams through our company.
